Documentary film

The life of a bear, the Europe's largest beast, the king of the forest, is a mystery for people who either live close to it or take an interest in it; scientifically or otherwise. Our biggest all-eating forest inhabitant appeared for the first time on Slovene territory at the time of the Ice Age and remained ever since, despite the fact that conditions were not ideal. At the beginning of the 20th century there were only 20-30 of them left, which was undoubtedly the result of excessive hunting. Currently there are 350-1000 bears living in Slovenia, the number depends on who the data comes from.
